The Chinese Association for Science and Technology, USA (CAST-USA) will hold the 18th Annual Convention, “Sino-US Science and Technology Development”, on May 29-30, 2010. The convention will be hosted by the Pittsburgh, PA Chapter (CAST-P) at the David Lawrence Hall of University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.
The 18th Annual Convention will be focused on the unique opportunities we are facing today in Sino-US collaboration in science and technology development, particularly in the fields of medical sciences, biotechnologies, energy and emerging materials. It is also designed to promote the communication and collaboration among our members to foster their personal and professional development.
CAST-USA, established in 1992, is a nation-wide Chinese American professional organization in USA. The primary purpose of CAST-USA is to promote a stronger partnership between the United States and China in sciences and technology exchange and business developments. The hosting CAST-Pittsburgh Chapter is among the most active chapters of CAST-USA, and the most prestigious overseas Chinese professional organizations in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
The organizing committee has been working hard to make the CAST-USA 18th Annual Convention a truly memorable experience for all participants.
